1. Once all your “machine is connected and turned on”: {TOPIC-LINK + new-ebt-hardware-set-up}, press the “F4 Retailer Options” key on the POS terminal.
  2. Press the second purple key below the screen
  3. Press “# 4 Terminal Configuration”
  4. Press “# 4 Communication Test” on the keyboard.
  5. The machine will take a few minutes to attempt to communicate with the EBT / WIC host, then print the test results.
  6. If the result is “Approved”, then the terminal is communicating correctly and is ready for a transaction.
  7. If the result is “Denied”, it indicates that there is a problem with the telephone line or Ethernet to which your terminal is connected or with the terminal itself.
